Friendly welcome and service. Nice, well presented food. Toasted sandwich was slightly too greasy for me but food was good value and freshly made.
Popped in for £10 lunch deal. Great value well presented by the chef (ribs and fish and chips). Wonderful service from the young barman. From what we experienced today I recommend for an inexpensive weekday lunch on the Bath Rd.
Went to the brown jug for sunday lunch and the football, the best roast i have ever had in my life!! I became full and did not want to stop eating i dont know how they do it but if you are looking for a roast dinner this is the place. Also i recommend ordering the pork crackling and the pigs in blankets as my god it was incredible

We went for Sunday lunch for. 65th Birthday there were 14 in our party, everyone was happy with their meal which was well presented, hot and a great selection of vegetables. The service was spot on.
