Audubon Grill

This is one of the worst golf courses I have ever seen. And I'm a veteran at local cow pastures. No maintenance done at all. Young employees hanging out on their phone in the "clubhouse." Go rake a bunker maybe. Can play harvest Hill or Glen oak for about the same price. But new carts! Go donate to the garbage new owners!

Course staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Course was walk only due to water. There were some tee boxes in rough shape, no signage at tee boxes, the benches at tee boxes were almost all broken, also no ball washers, the sand was unplayable (didn't have rakes, drop out and behind so to have a play on the ball). Even with that, I'll give it another try next year, hopefully that have a smoother transition into the playing season. Course has potential to be a good to great city course and the staff seems willing to make it that way. Overall 5 for staff friendliness/helpfulness and a 3 for the course (understanding the difficult turn around due to new management this year).

This course has been a great way to enjoy golfing and not being overwhelmed by the layout. Given 4 stars is only relative to your experience of golf and hospitality. The greens are slow, inconsistent, and small. The fairways are rough and generally dry or hard. The front Nine isn't great, but beats layout of all city courses in Buffalo area. The back nine is interesting as the layout, similar to the front, but offers more hazards and better place shots. The bunkers. Do not go in them. They're like beach properties that haven't been maintained in years. Dirt pits. If you find yourself in one, just pick it clean. There's no depth. But for booze and spraying your ball. This is the 4 star course for fun and kicking back without taking your self so serious. Last thing, there are many courses that offer much more and better kept. If youre a weekend warrior, go for it. If you're a scratch golfer maybe play a course so you're not playing on autopilot.

Many workers there were rude to us. We had workers who were golfing behind tell us to hurry when we were already as close to the next people as possible. Busy day of golf why are the workers on the course using it and telling us to hurry up. As far as the course, the greens couldn’t decide if they wanted to be the lowest green ever played or the fastest. The fairway was very long grass and super uneven. Huge holes all over the course. Both of the golf carts we got were broken in some way. Overall do not recommend going here if you want to enjoy a nice relaxing day of golf.

Fairway and rough were barely mowed and there were giant clumps of dead grass all over the course making it totally impossible to find your ball even if you ended up 5 yards off the fairway. There is zero sand in the bunkers and the tee boxes dont even have signs on half the holes. They are taking worse care of the course than ever before and they somehow think they are justified raising their prices. Was one of our favorite local courses and now feels like a total dump.
