This place is ideal if you’re looking for a grungy 90’s coffee shop, but there’s absolutely nothing comic book themed aside from the names of the food. The two people working were very nice and were apologetic but they were out of a lot of stuff. Meh. It’s a bit run down, dusty, and they have a bar in the dining room that’s covered in clutter and what seems like broken equipment, garbage cans and a door with a hole punched in it. Their bakery case has no lights In it and the shelves are broken and crooked. I asked for a refund and they needed the owner to process it, it took him a while but that’s okay and tried to offer us a $10 gift card as an apology. Overall I wouldn’t go back but they were nice.

I adore this place. It is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Buffalo thus far. They have delicious food options, everything has tasted fresh and homemade. The coffee, of course, is great as well. There was a band playing here yesterday (unfortunately, I forgot their name), but they were the perfect Saturday afternoon coffee shop vibe. There are outlets everywhere for your laptop, and a great variety of seating options (couch and chat, desk and work, etc.). All of the staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming. I love it here.

Their hours have changed week-to-week lately, from what I've noticed, but luckily they were open this Friday morning. Great cup of joe!! I also got the Tuscan breakfast wrap and it was awesome and filling. The barista kindly informed me that they were out of spinach for the wrap but could sautee kale and other greens. I appreciated her letting me know and the wrap was just as good!

Cute coffee shop, but there was no food available at 10am on a Wednesday. They said they “just didn’t prep” that morning. It wasn’t busy so it wasn’t because the food was gone/ran out, there just wasn’t any food. They only had bagels, which were stale, barely toasted, and wrapped in tin foil. Most of the reviews I read raved about vegan options, but the only vegan options I saw were milk alternatives for my latte and butter for my wet bagel. The staff was very nice, just sucked to be from out of town looking for even just a hot piece of avocado toast, or a muffin on a snowy day, but met with a stale, hardly toasted bagel, cases of empty bakery shelves, and a menu they were pretending to find when they knew they didn’t have any food available…eventually said they only had bagels and it was really awkward

Daily planet Coffee is a cute coffee spot! The superman/golden age comic vibe is nostalgic and comforting, the coffee is strong and the food is great! One of the few places that I've heard live music during these times! Polite staff, and comfortable seating, a great place for a date or to catch your breath! I liked it a lot and will definitely go back!
