Delicious, authentic Jamaican food.The restaurant itself is typical Jamaican style with flyers featuring upcoming social and party events.I would highly recommend Rootsman to a friend.Whatever Jamaicans do they do it with professionalism. And accuracy..

1st. Time here and walking thru the door you get the smells coming from the back kitchen/ front where the food is just waiting for you to order it .. Ok so I ordered the brown stewed chicken with rice n beans and it is like everything right now as I dig into this dish .. They give you a good portion of food they are not shy with feeding you .. Everything is really good n flavorful I will be going back for other dishes price isn't bad either

I try not to leave a 5 star but this place is definitely worth it the jerk chicken was so juicy and delicious the rice and beans was amazing cabbage was just as delicious definitely gonna come back thank you

Anytime I come back home, this is a must stop for me. I've had Jamaican food from many other spots and this is by far my favorite, hands down! I always get the Jerk Chicken and it never disappoints. Keep it up!

Been craving Jamaican food for a while. The spot that I usually go to are closed on Sundays, so I went to the next Jamaican spot around. NEVER AGAIN!!
Rice and beans, ox tails, and cabbage had NO flavor! 16 bucks in the trash cause I couldn't eat it. I'm so disappointed

I visited Sunday morning for ackee & salt fish, service was slow& inhospitable, $16 for a medium, I don't mind paying for good food but when I got home it was mostly dumplings & bananas, very small amount of the actual ackee... Very disappointed!

By far one of the BEST JERK CHICKEN IN THE STATE! Yes STATE! The only con is that they need to be more generous when adding the meat portion because that is what it lacks other then that, delicious! Spices are on point and rice is nice and fluffy, yummy! All my foodies follow my insta for delicious eats @girleatsworldx

Authentic, spicy jerk chicken. The rice and beans are as good as the meat itself and the cabbage is a nice touch.
