Fudgery The

We had a nice trip to The Fudgery after dinner tonight. This shop sells fudge and ice cream and the staff was very helpful and friendly. When we walked in we were greeted with the biggest welcome I have had in a long time. I was able to sample an ice cream that I was thinking about before buying it, and the staff worked together as a team to get our family taken care of quickly. It was kind of a cool evening so there were not very many people in the store but the staff were very attentive. The store sells Blue Bell ice cream so it was delicious and the selection covered most of the standard favorites like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and coffee. I had the butter crunch which was very good as well.

I loved it so much from delicious ice cream to wonderful fudge I would highly recommended going there. I would LOVE to go another time because the staff was nice the area was clean I wish I could go everyday to bad I don’t live in Branson. Although if you are going to Branson you need to go there. My only tipis don’t go from 7-8 because when I went there were out of a couple flavors but other than that you need to go.

We stopped here because we had their fudge before, from other location in Destin, FL. The fudge was okay but not great as from others and not worth the price. We had coupons for FREE fudge with order. The staff told us the prices were already discounted and we could use coupon. How is that possible? We felt that is was more of a tourist trap, so skip this place.

This store is dishonest. They post signs prominently displaying that the price is per slice of fudge. However, when it came time to pay, I was told that they also charged per pound, which came out to about $4 higher than the per slice price. When I asked why the price was so much higher, the employee told me, "I don't know why. I just work here," and mumbled something about sometimes they charge per pound instead of per slice, as the sign states. She didn't seem to know how the business priced their product and refused to divulge more information. The associates also were not wearing sanitary gloves when they prepared samples. The fudge is good, but not that good. I will not return here.
