Dosa is a must try here. Sambar and chutney is not that much great. Dosa is crispy and delicious. It is a busy place, table service is not available. So it is better to take away the food if you are not planning to eat dosa.

This restaurant takes you right back to Kerala's stunning coastline. Authentic flavours are evident in everything from the inventive food to the decor. Dishes that are traditional and inventive never let you down. Strongly suggested for a classy yet laid-back eating experience.

On our date night, my boyfriend and I had a delicious supper at Vaanga Boston. It exceeded expectations in every way, from the friendly greeting to the creative cuisine. The lamb pepper fry and scallop ceviche were particularly good. The evening's ambiance and service added great value.

Had to interrupt an employee to put in my order. They are busy with online orders and don't pay mind to the customers in store. Most of the food we ordered was good. South Indian food is not their Forte. Chapati was very good. Chicken biryani was mostly rice and hardly any chicken.

We ordered fried idly, superstar Dosa, LET'S MASALA THE POORI, and samosa wrap. *** Must try their fried idly and Superstar Dosa*** Poori masala was also nice in taste. I really hated samosa wrap. It was like samosa chat in a wrap. They were very generous in putting curd into that wrap which made it soggy. and didn't taste well. For drinks we had filter coffee and mango lassi, both drinks were amazing. It is a self-service restaurant. Must visit this place if you are in Downtown Boston. I will definitely visit this place. The quantity of food makes the money spent worthwhile.

The masala dosa was amazing!! The dahi puri and paneer kathi roll w/masala fries were really good too. We got the vada pav as well but it wasn't that great. Overall, a decent place with good variety on the menu. I will say you can't go wrong with any of the south Indian dishes.

The food was very good and tasty. Had ordered rice with kadai paneer and it was well made and tasty. The restaurant was bustling with people, so guess it speaks for that. The prices were very reasonable.

Got the masala dosa and kaara dosa. Masala dosa was huge, accompanied with coconut chutney and sambhar. Chutneys with sambhar and masala dosa tasted well, kaara dosa very spicy, recommended for spicy food lovers ONLY. We got idly later on, nice and fluffy, like how my amma and appa would make it back home. Filter kaapi was well balanced. Overall, good food.

I have been to Vaanga twice now and have decided that it my favorite Indian restaurant yet. My go-to here is the chicken tikka masala, and it is quite good. I have had this dish from several different restaurants and theirs is by far my favorite. It is an explosion of sweet and tangy flavors, with chicken cooked to perfection and tastefully added peppers and onions atop perfectly cooked rice. I liked that they had Thums Up and Limea to add Indian flavors to even the beverage options. I got the mango lassi after I was done eating and it was very good. Mango lassi is rarely bad, but theirs was particularly good. The dining room was very cute and they had a great selection of music. One song that stood out to me was "Jimikki Ponnu" by Anirudh Ravichander. It was fun to hear Anirudh playing at a restaurant considering he is one of my favorite artists. Overall I highly recommend Vaanga!
