Something surprising: The place has really maintained its style and charm, and feels like a cozy neighborhood spot. Reservation needed? No, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table to open up Overall Experience: 4/5. The staff is consistently attentive and the prices are reasonable, given all of the hype. If you're hoping for a life-changing pizza slice, it probably won't give you that, but the entire experience is worthwhile nonetheless. Been going here since the 70's. Menu is the same, decor the same, thin-crust pizza and BBQ lamb, steak, and chicken tips, sausage. The hot cherry peppers are the only vegetable choice! Santarpio's is the place I bring out-of-town visitors for an authentic Boston experience. Returning visitors will ask"Are we going to Santarpio's after you pick me up from the airport? Or when you drop me off, Can we do both ways?"

Step back into the seventies! Is it the best pizza - maybe not, but the whole package is priceless - the cheese and sauce are amazing, something seems to have changed with the crust, a bit flat last few times. The toppings also amazing, they know what they are doing! And the sausage and hit peppers are incredible. Wish the bread that went with it were more fresh but it is distinctive. Gotta get the grilled lamb as well. Oh, one more thing - make sure you ask for the soup du jour ;-)

The plain cheese pizza with cornmeal on the crust was very tasty and the crust and sauce were spectacular! It was a bit rustic but it was a pizza restaurant. Took them forever to make a simple large pie with extra sauce! It was great to see many of the celebrities that have met with the owner. Definitely worth going back for their pizza!

You Got To Love The Old School Charm of Santarpio's Pizza Started in 1903 as a Bakery and 30 years later 1933 added Pizza and The Rest is History. They make Delicious Pizza 😋 and Grilled Meats on Skewers😋 over a bed of Wood lump Charcoal Cooked to Perfection. We ordered Extra Sausage and Garlic Pizza,😋CBG Chicken, Broccoli and Garlic Pizza, House Made Sausage Skewers, 😋Beef Tip Skewers, Lamb Tip Skewers, 😋Chicken Tip Skewers all The Skewers come with Whole Cherry Peppers and Fresh Italian Bread😋. The House Wine 🍷 was Excellent 👌 and The Beers were Cold. This is A 💰Cash Only Establishment💰 with an ATM Machine inside the Back of The Restaurant. The Service was Great and our Waitress was Awesome 👍. I Highly Recommend Santarpio's Pizza!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
