Red Mesa Grill

Great food great service. Staff excellent. Do a lot of traveling around Texas and I believe this is a hidden gem. Ambience and decor are amazing, music is great. After a long drive this is definitely an oasis of comfort. Thank you guys, you made a rough day much better! I will be back every chance I get!

Ordered 3 kids meals with nuggets plus our meal and nuggets were raw server/restaurants didn't make it right because those were the last nuggets they had. Expansive and less than average food! Server was good but food was poor! The hostess was an elderly lady that thought she needed to decide where the adults and kids sat first red flag!

Frankly, this restaurant suffers from the same issue nearly every restaurant in Big Spring suffers from: lack of spices. The guacomole was just an avocado spread, the chips had no chili powder/pepper, salt or anything, and the fries seemed to just be dumped straight from the fryer onto the plate with no additional preparation. The burger had a palatable sauce and jalapenos, so, at least, there was something there. The presentation, service, and atmosphere were good other than the obligatory blasting of generic mud, trucks, & beer country music. Given the pricing of the entrees, I would give this place a pass unless you have that one member of your family who freaks out if someone uses black pepper or salt.

This is the second time we have came here. The first time we were here an hr and didn't get anything but drinks. We had ordered mesa nachos never got them all we got was excuses on why we haven't gotten our food. Now this time we waited over 5 minutes before our waitress even came then we order drinks appetizer and meals. We got out drinks finally and never saw the appetizer. Finally got our food and my youngest daughter had to wait another 5 minutes to get her meal which was a taco salad. My husband asked for another flour tortillas and waited 10minutes finally got it after 3 people asked to take his plate away. I will say this we will never be back. The service and excuses did it in for us.

Arrived at Red Mesa just before 6. Ordered our food. One in our party left at 6:45, without food, to go to a meeting. I had a meeting and my sandwich {chicken} was brought to the table, at 6:50, cold along with the fries. In the 50 minutes I had to get the waitresses attention for refills. 3 couples left due to no one even taking their drink orders. Had been over a year since I had been there. Now I remember why. Nothing was taken off the bill, as compensation for cold food, or one person not even getting his food due to the over all service.

Pretty awful experience. . Should I start with the extremely over poured frozen margarita that was ordered on the rocks? Or should I start with my mozzarella sticks that never came, yet was almost charged for? What about the moldy chips that were served not once but 2x . After biting our tongue through all that how could u serve the rock hard tortillas? My standards aren't very hi, but u guys excelled in failure. Close this place down .just terrible... .
