Bar Rio

I recently discovered Bar Rio in Bend, Oregon, which is my new favorite place! The unique blend of a vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and truly delectable cocktails and tapas sets it apart from the crowd. Each tapa plate is fresh and bursting with creative flavors that tantalize the palate. The service staff impresses with friendly service and attention to detail. Bar Rio is not simply a bar; it's an experience. If you haven't visited yet, you're missing out.

So excited the new Bar Rio is finally open!! I was thrilled to see paella still on the menu. It was even more delicious than I remembered. The cocktails are also amazing. The spicy chavurah and the frozen limoncillo were spot on. The interior decor is BEAUTIFUL!!! Live edge wood bar, exotic tiles, and warm lighting are a few highlights. I highly recommend stopping by for some cocktails and tapas.

Bar Rio is my new favorite spot in town! All the things that were loved from the old Barrio, but with a new elevated twist. The tapas menu is perfect for a few bites on a date night or even to share a bunch with a group. The staff is super welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and makes you feel at home. You can tell there’s a lot of love and care being put into every cocktail and dish that’s being served. There’s a nice outdoor lounge out back that’s perfect on a sunny day or even to cool down in the evening. The interior is beautifully curated and compliments the whole vibe of the place. I’m excited to have a new cocktail bar in Bend!

Popular place so be prepared to put your name down and walk around until you get a text. Interesting fusion of Mexican and Spanish food with both tacos and paealla (or however you spell it). The mezcal pineapple cocktail was delicious and topped with boozy pineapple. The guacamole corn taco could have used more kick to it but not bad as a veggie option. Would come again but I've also had better.
