Great food on a cold night. Well cooked chips, lightly battered pineapple fritter and a crisp fish burger. Very enjoyable.

the man seems grumpy, but he is very nice actually. the kumara chips seems burnt, but they are not burnt and so yummy actually. price up recently as everywhere else, but I still think this shop is the best fish n chips shop in the area. their deep fried food doesn't smells like ordinary fish n chips shops deep fried food.

The place has been opened for 20 years and I can see why :) Great fish & chips. The oil that was used was not old and that’s important when you have fish and chips :) The owner of the place is who actually cooked and served us - a genuine guy! Would definitely recommend this place and will come back again 👌

Newton chippery cooks them better than very good. Chef will make them and season to your taste. Genuine fish, hearty burgers. 10 years satisfaction.
