Applebee's

We were staying in the Best Western next door and decided we needed real food. We could not have chosen better. The first visit (because we went both nights we were in town...it was that good!) we had Casey H. in the bar section and when I say she was phenomenal it might be the biggest understatement ever. Our drinks were made promptly, food delivered quickly, she had the BEST sense of humor and made our visit so enjoyable. I had a question about what oil things were fried in and she didn't hesitate to find out for me (I have extreme food allergies). The new host at the door was great, too! The second night, we sat at the bar and had Amber B. tending to us. She was just as exceptional as Casey had been the night before. Drinks were promptly made, food orders taken and delivered as quickly as the kitchen could get them out. We even got to say hi to Casey when she stuck her head out from the kitchen. Management would be smart to hang on to these two! If you're staying in Athens, I highly recommend eating here!

So I decided to give them another try since the last ordeal with the cold boneless wings and this time it was 30% better. The appetizers still weren't what they needed to be,the spinach and artichoke dip was hot (chips were eh), the boneless wings were just warm and the cheese sticks were warm. The entrees were pretty good and the dessert was the best out of it all!

We took my father there for Father's Day...he ordered the full slab of ribs, and extremely enjoyed them. They were fall off the bone tender and he said they were the best he's ever had. We also ordered the Shrimp dinner and the Chicken and Shrimp plate... everything was wonderful and our server Amber was absolutely amazing!!!!!

My family and I stopped by on our way to Tennessee and the food was great, it came out very quick considering how busy they were. The hostess, Naudia, was incredibly sweet and such a professional. Her and our waitress Casey made our day, our kids loved the both of them and we’ll definitely be back to see them.

WONDERFUL. i hadn’t been to an Applebees in years. Me and a few friends were last minute on a Sunday night wanting margaritas and luckily made it right before last call and the server was nice enough to bring us refills !!! Not to mention the steak was wonderful! Love it. Will return again for wonderful service.

We were a party of 4 adults, and 1 person with a walker. The entry was difficult to navigate and entry from parking lot had steps. Upon entry we were concerned about the step down to bar are and were trying to direct the hostess that we would like chairs, we ask about a cleared area with a table and she stated I have to seat you, we ask again on the other side about a table by the door, she said no I have to seat you. We said ok, then she offered the table we had just ask about. I was a bit frustrated and stated, that is what we ask you for, she rudely stated, I didn't hear you, and gave me a "if looks could kill" look. The waitress was pleasant, we got our drinks and ordered our meal. My order was wrong and upon telling the waitress, she said it was her error. My friends chicken alfredo was dry, but they did give her extra sauce after we flagged someone down to please send our waitress. My other friend got ribs, below is a pic, and another got Riblets the riblets had 3 slabs with a very small slab for the rib order. The food was ok. This was my first visit to this location. I won't return.
