Hagar's Harbor

We had a blast!!!! My husband and I are in town from Brooklyn NY because I am hairstyling a wedding here this weekend. Not sure where to go, this place came highly recommended but we didn't know what to expect. Upon walking in, honestly we didn't expect too much and were absolutely FLOORED by how DELICIOUS every dish was! The mussels were like a trip back home, (that's a tall order for this Am/Italian girl) the Ceasar salad was fresh cheesey and good and I don't know what they did to that burger but it was a slam dunk only to be competing with its most excellent fries!!! We made fast friends with beautiful people, shot some pool, and did some hilarious bad dancing to a host of pretty damn good karaoke singers!!! I don't know what's going on here, but if I lived here....this would be my spot!!! Thank you!!!

Upon entry we were informed by the bartender the kitchen is backed 30 minutes outside is an open table with menu's. The bartender came out multiple times with out addressing us.. we sat and witness her addressing other customers as they walked away disappointed. We would of liked to of had a drink while we waited for our to be taken.. we waited 20 min then left!! Terrible your loosing customers..

First of all our waitress ( older blonde woman, sadly I do not remember her name) was FANTASTIC! I’m not a seafood person but my love is, crab dip was amazing and the chips were PERFECT, bacon mac and cheese was very good, fish and chips were very good ( even I tried a piece), hamburger was good but the fries could not compare the the chips with the crab dip and the spicy chicken soup was great. Highly recommend

The waitresses are wonderful. They're very nice and helpful. The garlic parmesan chicken wings are some of the best around. The potato leek soup was delicious, as was the burger. The French dip was a little too salty, but the meat was very tender. The portion sizes are great if you enjoy leftovers, which we do. There was a great eclectic selection of music playing and a delightful atmosphere.
