What an amazing place with an amazing shops. The architecture is one of a ki'm and there are so many offices and other places to visit. And look at all of it is beautifully maintained and well kept by the quality janitorial group

Beautiful shopping mall with beautiful architecture. The shopping mall is very small with few shops, but the place looks beautiful. Not much to do in the mall, there are no major flagship stores, but the mall looks wonderful. There are cafes and some specialty stores around the mall, but that’s it. The area around the mall is enjoyable for walking.
Parking around the mall isn’t free, and the space is quite difficult to find, even in weekdays.

Such a stunning building and they have local shops. It’s definitely a cool spot to visit in Asheville!!!

Beautiful building. We just did some quick window shopping and walked through a couple of the artists galleries and shops. For us personally, the shops weren't of as much interest, so it was just a quick 30 min visit, but it was a neat little stop as we explored Asheville on foot and I'd recommend stopping in.

My most favorite building downtown. If you love architecture, then you won't want to miss it. It's filled with many lovely shops, as a bonus.

One of the coolest buildings you will ever walk into.

The 1929 Grove Arcade is an historical gem, restored and beautiful. Browse the shops and appreciate the Art deco era architecture.

This shopping center remains me of some shopping centers I have visited in Europe: historical buildings, high ceilings with glass roof, high end shops with attractive window displays, crafted and elegant architecture details. Though much smaller than its European counterparts, Grove Arcade maintains very well and its original charm. Did not get a chance to visit stores inside. But will definitely come back.

Opened in 1929 by E.W. Grove, (Edwin Wiley Grove was a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur. He founded the Paris Medicine Company, creating and producing its well-known patent medicine products) Grove Arcade was built to celebrate the city he loved so much. (He also built the Grove park inn.) the Grove arcade with its rich history, ornate architecture, and eclectic mix of shops and restaurants were designed to offer patrons a full-day immersion into Asheville lifestyle and culture. It was built from 1926 to 1929, and is a Tudor Revival and Late Gothic Revival style building. The story is fascinating. The yarn consists of its construction, government takeover, renovation, and finally its grand reopening in 2002. It’s a splendid place to experience the culture of downtown Asheville through the wide variety of local shops, boutiques, and artisans. Each store embodies the character of Asheville in their unique style and exquisite craftsmanship. The building is guarded by huge lion griffins which are historically accurate.
