I enjoyed celebrating being in Asheville for the first time visiting my 26 yr old Granddaughter, Macy Richards! She couldn’t wait for me to hear the John Henry Band and I was NOT disappointed 👏🏻 perfect evening! Nanna from Indiana 😉

Walked in to hear some live music on a brief visit and snagged seats at the bar right before the band started. They were great (The John Henrys) as were the wine and beer. The vibe in this place is very comfortable and it’s easy to lose track of time in such an inviting space.

Awesome wine bar. Great selection of wines. Charcuterie board was delicious. Always fun to sit at the window seats, feel the refreshing mountain air and people watch while sipping on a cab.

5 Walnut is one of my favorite downtown spots in Asheville. The atmosphere is always a wonderful balance of upbeat and relaxed. Service is both knowledgeable and warm, and the musicians are fantastic. Whether catching up with friends or having a romantic evening, 5 Walnut fits the bill. Parking is easy as there's a paid lot across the street as well as the Rankin public garage a block over.

Best-kept secret in Asheville. It's never overcrowded, and the wine list always rocks. My personal fave is sitting by their open window bars and people-watching :)

My daughter and I dropped in on Mother's Day!! Sat at open window seats, ordered some food, wine and Noble hard cider!! It was relaxing laid back and just a great experience!! We loved it!! The lady bartender was awesome!!

Lovely wine bar with fantastic offerings. Stopped by to enjoy a bottle of Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon. The vibes inside are definitely relaxing and I do believe there is live music on certain days of the week, although there was no live music when we stopped by on Saturday afternoon around 3. Our bartender Linda was great!
This wine bar does get extremely busy, though, and Linda was the only bartender working trying to keep up with everyone’s orders. Keep in mind that the wait can be a bit if the bar gets busy.
Definitely stop by for some great wine if you’re in the area!
