Sonic Drive-in

I have been going to this sonic since I was a child, and most recently it really went downhill. I did a mobile order at 10:15 pm knowing that they close at 11, this has never been a problem for me. In the mobile order I even tipped ahead of time because I understand that these workers deserve a little extra in the food industry. When I pulled into the stall, it said drive through only, so I went to the drive through and said the name of my order and asked for ranch because I forgot to input that. I pull up and she hands me the wrong drink, a cherry limeade which I was willing to accept, but then when she hands the food, I realize it is entirely the wrong order so I politely tell her so, and she gives me a scoff and an eye roll and I tell her the name of my order. Then she hands me my Dr. Pepper and says “goodnight” and immediately closes the door. I have to wave at her for attention and tell her there was food for my order, and she closed the door and visibly freaks out in rage. I have never seen anything like this. Her coworker who was off shift had to help me and I once again politely told her my order name and after another 10 minutes they hand me my food. This sonic used to be my go-to place since I was a child and it saddens me the type of employees that are here now. Lastly, she forgot the ranch.

we came here around 10:10 and ordered four orders all including ice cream. we waited 30 minutes before they came with our order. we were ok with that because it was very busy. however it was totally the wrong order. we told them that and they said they would be back with our order when it was done. we waited and waited. we saw cars that came after us get their drinks and food before we did. we didn’t want to say anything until it hit 50 minutes. we flagged down a worker and she said that our order would come out soon. we wait. now it’s been over an hour and 10 minutes. we go ask them and they say to wait on the machine but didn’t say how long when we asked them and they didn’t even give us a time estimate. we just wanted to know how long to wait because at this point we were here for way too long to be wasting any more time. We understood y’all were busy and that’s why we waited so long to ask about the food. We said “take your time” when ordering the food and even when asking the first time we even said that “we didn’t want to rush you or anything but when will our order come out?” and yet this is the treatment we get back? it was really another slap in the face when we saw cars that came after us getting their drinks, blasts, shakes etc that include ice cream and yet ours has yet to come (this includes the three cars that came after us on our left and right stalls!!). we ended up leaving without the food. thanks a lot.

My 1st time at this sonic on 6/9/2021. Decided to stop since I was driving by got a kids meal for my grandson & this is the burger he got. He said to me this burger is dry & nasty do I decided to look at it. I know it's a kids meal but OMG. I will not be back ever at this location EVER! Wasted money. If I had time I would of turned around but went to Chick Fila down the road you never go wrong with Chic Fila!!!!

Review update; Today is April 10th and I've been here a few times since my first review from a couple months ago. It has been good since then. Today they are understaffed so the lanes are closed and only the drive thru is open. I would think if the manager called others to come in and work some would have. Regardless, the crew today was very friendly and served quickly. The food was pretty good. See pics. First Review: Went there about a week ago and ordered hash browns. While on the road the bag was opened and there were mozzarella sticks that were covered in fine baby hairs! Too far down the road to turn back to complain and get what was ordered, it got thrown away. Also ordered a Dr Pepper, but were given a Tea instead. Otherwise, the food is ok, service is ok, nothing exceptional or to brag about this location.
