I went at 2pm, trying to get quick meal after work, and to feed the grandbabies after school. For the first time Ever, I was disappointed in Captain Ds, but the night shift just made everything right! ❤️😊

Tried different fish and was sooo good. Staff was so patient in explaining it.

I like the food, especially the battered fish dipped in malt vinegar. The service was very quick since they weren't busy at the time. The restaurant was clean, but the black stains on the white ceiling tiles are off-putting to me. The roof or air ducts need to be sealed better.

You know what you're getting, if you have realistic expectations. You won't be surprised or disappointed, if draw inside of the lines. This isn't gourmet seafood and you shouldn't expect that. But it's fine, for the venue and the price. The people are nice and efficient, the food is good enough, for the price. People often compare Captain D's to Red Lobster, which is thoroughly stupid. Both places aren't actual seafood restaurants...they are fast food. We live in the best place on earth for seafood and if you kvetch about the food here or at Red Lobster, you are mentally defective. Go to an actual seafood restaurant and get over your biases.

I was blown away by how tasty, hot and fresh everything was. I had grilled white fish with lemon pepper and it was delicious. It came with a tasty roll and two sides. The green beans were seasoned just right and the fries were amazing. My husband had fried fish that came with hush puppies. It was equally amazing. The staff was friendly and our meals were prepared fresh. The building itself could use an over haul but it was very clean. I highly recommend giving them a try.
