Captain D's

You know what you're getting, if you have realistic expectations. You won't be surprised or disappointed, if draw inside of the lines. This isn't gourmet seafood and you shouldn't expect that. But it's fine, for the venue and the price. The people are nice and efficient, the food is good enough, for the price. People often compare Captain D's to Red Lobster, which is thoroughly stupid. Both places aren't actual seafood restaurants...they are fast food. We live in the best place on earth for seafood and if you kvetch about the food here or at Red Lobster, you are mentally defective. Go to an actual seafood restaurant and get over your biases.

I was blown away by how tasty, hot and fresh everything was. I had grilled white fish with lemon pepper and it was delicious. It came with a tasty roll and two sides. The green beans were seasoned just right and the fries were amazing. My husband had fried fish that came with hush puppies. It was equally amazing. The staff was friendly and our meals were prepared fresh. The building itself could use an over haul but it was very clean. I highly recommend giving them a try.
