We found this bakery while walking around downtown. It was the perfect stop for something small and sweet. They had a selection of 25 or so types of cookies, each sounding better than the last. They were indeed fabulous! Making all worthwhile was the counter help. She was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to please. Sweet people; sweet deserts... an unbeatable combination !!

Mama Wilson's Banana Pudding cookies go beyond what I thought humanly possible. The memory of all lesser cookies has faded from my mind. My homemade oatmeal raisin cookies? Pointless. My grandmas chocolate chip cookies? Without merit. No other cookie can compare. My expectations from a simple cookie have been raised to an unfairly high standard. The moment I bit into the first cookie a dove descended upon my shoulder, and a ray of bright sunlight shone down on me. In the words of my affianced "These cookies have renewed my faith in humanity" Mama Wilson was put on this planet to bake, and bake she does.

I wanted to love this place, but a lot of the cookies I ordered in store were hard, dry, and crumbly; not soft and fresh. I saw they refrigerated the ones you buy in the shop, which I understand is to keep their product as fresh as they can for as long as they can, but that can be part of the issue. I would recommend that you make sure the cookies are fresh before you order and pay.

The cookies were amazing! The key lime cookie actually tastes like key lime pie. Easy to order and ready on time. Plus the staff went above and beyond to help me out weeks later when I needed a copy of my receipt. Really nice to find staff that take the extra time and effort. Exceptional service!

Mama Wilson's is THE best! Being able to send the taste of homemade cookies across the nation is pretty special. Also, Jane Marie is so nice that you'll have a hard time not wanting to buy more baked goods from her! My co-workers all love her cookies, and want to know when I'll be bringing some into the office again! Certainly a must for your visit to Dalton, Georgia.
