Ruby's Wood Grill

Nice place with several seating options- a lounge, a main dining room and a sports bar. We enjoyed the quiet of the main dining room. Our server was friendly. The broccoli chedder soup in a bread bowl was a great deal for a $3 special. The Big Kahana was delicious as well. No complaints about the mud pie either!

On May 17th as my wife and I where celebrating out wedding anniversary. We decided to pit stop here for lunch. We both ordered steak bombs and only ate half of our food there. However so we got home in the evening and decided to warm up our left overs from there. SURPRISE we find card board in our sandwich. My wife nearly choked and was totally disappointed at this moment. Well appears will not be stopping here again. Like that is a health board concern for sure.

It took 15 minutes to place a drink order. My husband got his beer, my margarita took another 10 minutes. My sandwich, chicken fajita pita was delicious but was on a wrap not a pita. My fries came with buffalo seasoning that I definitely did not ask for. My husband got waffle fries he did not order and it too a good 5 minutes for his sandwich to arrive after mine. I am a dog person but pets are not allowed in restaurants, something they should have told the man in the corner with his dog. He was not wearing a service vest and did not act appropriately for a service animal. I know how stressed restaurants are which is why I left a generous tip. We won’t be returning there anytime soon.

Traveled from Northern Arizona: the food was delicious!!! The BBQ was on point. The hot wings are amazing. The service was good, nothing to brag about. But the waitress was mediocre. The real hero’s are the ones in the kitchen. The coleslaw and beans are also amazing and I never eat them. NO dessert menu.... the potatoes skins were okay, were very crispy and the bacon was burnt. Mask were worn and music was good.

What fun! Obviously Covid has taken its toll on this place but I ordered Irish Nachos and got a real strange chili covered set of potato skins with lettuce and cheese and the nacho bits under the chili instead of on top resulting in very hot cooked lettuce etc on my nachos. Kinda weird but still good enough to eat. The burger was incredible and the steak tips were heavy on the teriyaki but good.

Nothing special, way to many options in the area offering better dining and beverages options. Staff seems overwhelmed. Many of they challenges are out of their control, we went they had a limited menu due to no kitchen staff and only 2 options on tap. Staff was wonderful but clearly stress and apologized for the hectic atmosphere. We went to try and catch the game ended up leaving due to the overall experience and went somewhere else.
