Waffle House

Most discussing place. I have been there before and it was okay. Now they are extremely understaffed. Food is discussing, place is filthy. Staff have nasty attitudes. They don’t know how to make customer request. We ordered over/easy. All the eggs were made the same! Burned. Except for the one that was undercooked, was suppose to be sunny side up and it was practically raw. The staff attitudes were so bad. They were out of everything, they didn’t even have ketchup. The grits were cold and the little waitress said they could not heat it up. There were multiple items that they were out of. It’s was dirty, which includes the staff and the facility. Who allows this place to stay open? I’m going to report this to the health department!!!

Went here after work. Got a chocolate chip waffle and a cheese steak melt hash brown bowl. Got a server - her name Sam? - it was on my ticket, and the food was good thanks to the cook named Jonah. After the meal, what made it a five star experience was the conversation that we had there. I felt welcomed and not served because they had to - but rather they wanted to. I wish more waffle house visits were like that, and this report is indicative of only my visit, but I'd say mine was good. I will return.

York Waffle House has very poor help in the evenings. Just got home not even a spoonful of gravy on biscuits and gravy. The gravy did not even cover a third of one half of the biscuit. Not to mention the omelet was nowhere to be found but on the receipt. Had to make a second trip to get the omelet with gravy biscuits in hand to show them their poor service.

So I go in and I am told that there is a half hour wait for take out. The waitress then proceeded to take TWO takeout orders that came in after. While waiting for someone to take my order the waitress who took the two people after me, proceeded to let Miss Bess/Beth that her mama and aunty had arrived,and she would take care of them. (They arrived after me.) About 3-5 mins after this exchange. Miss Beth/Bess realized I've been sitting quietly waiting my turn. I had been there for 25 mins at this point. Why did I wait? My kid is working a double shift. He's getting what he wants for lunch. Ok finally place my order. Asked for an extra order of toast. Didn't get it nor was I charged for it. Order is finally ready asked for sunny side up, got over easy. Did I wait for them to fix it? No plain and simple I was now seriously running out of time to get the food and get it to my kid who's working a double. As always with this chain in my area, poor service. They only seem to acknowledge people who appear to be big tippers, or friends and family. As always with this chain in my area you won't get what you ordered, and when doing take out it's even worse. There are 4 Waffle house's in my area and I can say that they are consistent in all having poor service.
