El Farolito

Food was good. The portions were very large. We got burritos and they were very big. I got the surf and turf burrito, but I felt like the chorizo was a bit salty. We showed up a little after 8 and left before 9, but we felt a bit rushed because they brought the check to us right after they brought the food.

Love the place, love the food, love the drinks. My only complaint - if they do not put some felt underneath the bar chairs I'm going to lose my freaking mind - the screech from metal on stone is enough to make your skin crawl and happens every 5 seconds. Other than that love the atmosphere! Great service too.

I've eaten here numerous times. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. It's a bit bigger inside than you might think from the outside. You could have a big party in here and it's nicely decorated. Especially right now during Day of the Dead. I've also eaten by ordering through the drive-thru. The people who work here are efficient and my food has always come quickly. The burrito was delicious and I like this place. It's a little tricky to find the entrance right now with the set up for Covid but once inside it's nicely laid out and the ambiance is pleasant. They also let me bring my dog inside here once which was sweet.

I have been here twice. Both visits can be summed up as follows: Food has been excellent and has arrived fairly quickly after ordering. I or someone in my party has had burritos, tacos, nachos, and chimichangas. All have been good. The wait staff has unfortunately been kinda lazy. My water glass has repeatedly been empty and both times I had to wait quite a while to be acknowledged upon arrival and had to wait to pay. Today I was a bit irritated that my wife and I had to pay $2 extra to share a plate. We were not told this when we ordered and only noticed when we got home. The ambience is nice on the patio but ill have to see if we will return. There are so many Mexican restaurants in the area... Updated review. Still the same overall rating but the staff seemed a bit more responsive on our most recent visit.
