Bagel Emporium Express

Stopped by because I was in the area and saw they won a Westchester County award. I ordered my standard: toasted garlic with scallion cc, so I could compare it to some of my favorite bagel places. This bagel stands up well. Large, crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The scallion cream cheese has plenty of large pieces of scallion. Enjoyed it very much. I also grabbed a jalapeno everything bagel, because well, jalapeno! The green color is strange, but it tastes really good. There are not chunks of jalapeno in it, rather the flavor is baked throughout, thus the overall green color (see photos.) I would definitely get this bagel again with a spread next time!

This place has Jalapeño Everything bagels and about four hundred different flavors of cream cheese. If that doesn't get your attention, you're probably looking for a sleeve of Lenders from the freezer aisle. It's also nice that they usually have all bagel bins full by 6:00. No waiting until they finally pull your favorite out of the oven.

July 2023, haven’t been here in a long while because I spend part of my time now in South Fla, I ordered the Egg on a roll with crispy bacon and I love the way they crumble the bacon bits on the roll, not just lay the bacon strips across the roll. One thing Fla does not have is Kiser Rolls, which I find very strange. I couldn’t wait to come back here for the breakfast sandwich. This is always my first stop when I get back to NY from Fla. Besides the great tasting breakfast sandwich you can’t beat the Bagels and wide choice of cream cheeses. Thanks Bagel Emporium for continuing to made the best tasting Egg Sandwich I have ever had. Also, the staff who work there are great.
