Outstanding service. The owner opened his doors 30 minutes before they officially open so that we could go in, cool off and rest. Food was very abundant and good. A hole in the wall mom and pop joint that has been in business for 30 years. If you get a chance to stop in I would recommend it. Be sure and check out the album collection decorating the walls!

Went in to order a quick blackened fish, nothing special… ten minutes wait, the food was ready. No complaints from me! Good food— just a bit pricey to be off of I-20 back in the country about a mile. Overall everything was great!

Terrible service stood by the front desk waiting to be seated. When the woman finally came she said it would be just a few minutes, we waited for 20 minutes to get seated. Ten more minutes to order drinks. 20 minutes later took our order. And another 30 minutes for the food. I do not recommend to eat here if you want the food the same day.

Just under twenty years ago I went on an eating tour of the south. (Born and raised all over the world including Germany) My aunt Sharon and uncle Fred brought me to a place I thought they called the shinny shack. Lol! The best fried food I’d had all along. If y’all are still around, I just want to say thank you.

The food was delicious 😋. Our waitress was so nice and very attentive. The restaurant was clean. It was my birthday and I received a complimentary slice of chocolate pie. It was the best I've ever eaten.

Just went there to eat lunch and got the shrimp poboy and it smelt and tasted like it was rotten so I let out waitress know it didn't taste right so she went and got the owner I guess and I told her what was wrong she looked at me and with a major attitude she said ain't nothing wrong with it and snatched it off our table which was very rude and unprofessional I will never step foot back in this place!!
