We've been twice before 9:30 shows. Everything I've had has been delicious. My son occasionally begs us to take him back for more ramen. It's some of the best I've had. Service was great both times...actually, outstanding the first time. Even though they were busy we didn't have to wait too long. We'll definitely be back.

I really like this place; I’ve gone twice before shows at the Atlantis and 930 Club and each time the food has been excellent. I ate the broth less ramen the last time I went and it was really good and spicy (which I’m a fan of). I also liked the spicy shoyu ramen the first time I visited. The beer selection is decent, and they have a few rotating drafts. Service is fast and the staff are helpful and nice. This is a perfect pre-show place, the food is filling but won’t weigh you down and the drinks are cheaper than inside the venues. Definitely swing by!

Nice atmosphere and really good service! Our server was very attentive and quick with our food. We loved the spicy shoyu and the octopus taco. It's quite conveniently located, too, being in a walking distance to Howard Hospital and Cramton Auditorium.

Stopped for dinner before a show. The service was A+, everyone we encountered was genuinely helpful and caring. Have honestly never had such great service anywhere else! Our server took a food allergy seriously and helped us make a great choice. She checked on us to make sure we liked everything. The food came out very quickly and was delicious! Definitely recommend!

I love this place. We stopped in for lunch and had amazing service from Theresa. She was so helpful, kind and overall awesome. It was super chill which was awesome & allowed us to get out of the heat for a bit. The food came extremely fast and was BEYOND delicious. The crab Rangoon is out of this world? The sauce?! Yes please!!! We got the veggie ramen as well and it was delicious. I can’t wait to return!

Haikan and Daikaya are the two best ramen spots in DC. They go back and forth in terms of my favorite and I tend to lean towards Haikan because it’s closer. It had been a while since I’d been and I was excited to return! I usually go with the Shoyu - add butter, corn, extra scallions, and a veggie spice bomb on the side. I won’t say I was disappointed this time but it wasn’t as good as I remember it. Everything seemed a bit muted but I also did have one of the first bowls of the day as I got there shortly after they opened. Even with this slight knock, I would absolutely recommend checking them out if you haven’t already.

Went to Haikan while waiting for 930 club to open to see Meg Myers. The good was freaking delicious. The little short girl uo front didn't know where we could sit though. Made me slightly frustrated, but we got to sit at the Ramen bar and get noodle wasted. Will go back. Pretty good Not too bad Spice bomb was pretty GOOD. Ok Bye

Solid ramen spot with a nice ambience. Spicy shoyu is the right amount of spice so be not afraid to order it. The pork belly appetizer is strange — hot pork belly (not crispy) with cold apple. Flavor wise it’s okay.

My go to neighborhood place for ramen happens to also serve stellar ramen! Like legit shoyu and when you order the egg, it’s soft and flavorful and not just a plain hard boiled egg thrown on top. I always order the spice bomb which adds a yummy kick and added flavor. My boyfriend loves the veggie ramen which I tried once and had to admit wasn’t too bad.
