I come here consistently for their Wednesday curry night. It's an amazing deal, $25 per couple for all you can eat curry and a wine tasting, with the caveat that you purchase a bottle of wine from the tasting (about 25ish dollars). Every week they do curry from a different region and a different wine selection but it's always excellent. Their Thai curry selection has probably been my favorite. Can't say enough good things about their curry night. One thing to note is that there is often at least one spicy curry so if you hate spicy food you might want to verify their menu beforehand.

Great burger and tater tots. We ordered to go and spoke a lot with the owner while waiting. We will return for some of their weekly wine specials and food. The only recommendation I have is to order your burger as you would like— I wasn’t specifically asked how to cook it and would have actually liked it medium well, not well done. I would recommend this restaurant.

Just an awesome place to get a quick bite to eat, to meet new people of diverse nationalities, who were friendly and fun after several glasses from a great selection of wine and beer. We had the pleasure to meet the owner Aziz, who was so outgoing, and open that you felt like old friends. In other words, a great place that we would recommend and would be revisiting.

I live down the street from this place and I cannot give it enough praise. There are a lot of food options walking distance from my house that have comparable menus. But none of them come close to the quality and consistency of DC Grill Express. And the people who run the place are always so incredibly friendly. You are not going to get Michelin star quality food here, but for something quick and casual you honestly won't find too many better spots.

My wife and I stopped in just to catch a football match that happened to be on the TVs. We had already had dinner that night so we didn't try any of the food but I was really impressed by how inviting the owners were. While we were there several people stopped in to either pick up food or to eat there and the owners seemed to know everyone on a personal level, from who was expecting a baby to who had just moved apartments. It was great to see that there are still neighborhood places around that aren't overpriced or gimmicky. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.
