Mcdonald's

I used to work nearby and would stop for a frappe or a smoothie occasionally as a treat on my way home. The drive-thru staff is the worst I've ever experienced. Rhode Island is taking steps to reduce plastic pollution by only giving straws on request, but here they still try to give it to you. I've had 2 separate employees give me a staw at the same time as the beverage. If it were at least handed over separately it would be easier to decline, but they should not even be giving them out at all when not specifically requested. I always refuse straws, since I have my own reusable ones. Literally every single other drive-thru, whether it be another McDonald's, a Dunkin, or a Starbucks, has either not given me a straw (the correct thing to do) or taken it back when I said it was not needed. Here, they REFUSE to take it back. The first girl said in a very rude tone that it was due to COVID, but that is a lie, because it is a WRAPPED ITEM, so anyone touching the wrapping is not a concern, as the wrapping has to be removed anyway before use. Then a different employee refused again tonight to take the straw (that I didn't ask for!) back. I thought the first girl was just snotty, but it's not like expectations of McDonald's employees are high. Even still, both fell way below that already low bar. Seems like a manager may be instructing employees to do things incorrectly. I won't be back to this location. I'll go somewhere that has more respect for the environment. Thank goodness I don't work near this location anymore.

Very disappointing service! Ordered dinner at 340 giving them 20 minutes to make the order and even checked in on the app. Go to pick up my order and after waiting in line for over 25 minutes. They proceed to tell me I have to cancel my order because they have no intention of making it even though it just turned 4 when I finally got to the speaker. Ruined the whole evening. Will never be going back to this restaurant for personal orders. Complete disappointment!

Not even a busy when I went. Not a car in Drive thru. Ordered on the app. The food came in bagels sealed with their stickers. My gut said to check the order but I didn’t. Over 1/3 order was missing or incorrect. Wasn’t a huge order but it had 5 meals. Zero effort and laziness. They want fair wages but put no pride or effort into their job.

There are 2 drive thru lanes, while I was sitting at the speaker WAITING to even be acknowledged another car pulled up to the other speaker placed their order and pulled ahead all before I was EVEN greeted... Issue #2 No sauce? Really? The Crispy Chicken Sandwich came without any type of sauce, I was not asked or anything...it was so dry, horrible eat.
