Real Mccoy's

My friend who lives in Wake Forest suggested we stop in for lunch and I am thankful we did. We stopped in on a Sunday when mimosas were $5; ordered 1 and it was tasty! I ordered the King Caesar Salad with the Ginger-Orange Vinaigrette dressing -- a delicious combo in deed! She order the vegetarian option of the Cajun Chicken pasta dish and was very happy with the choice. The portions are large, so be prepared to take home some of what you order for the next day. We would highly recommend this spot for a quick meal, date night, or when you have visitors in town!

This was our first experience here at the Real McCoy. The service was efficient and thorough. Tristan, our server, was attentive and patient with answering questions we had about ingredients and prep of the entrées. The tuna appetizer was surprisingly delicious. The chicken, shrimp & sausage gumbo was doable. The flavor was good, although authentic New Orleans gumbo is hard to beat. The flavor was great! The veggies in it was crunchy 🤨. The carrot cake and peach cobbler was a real treat! Kudos to the baker of the desserts (I forgot her name😕). I will definitely dine here again! I didn't think to take pics before I dug in an demolished it all!
