Great grilled pimento cheese sandwich with bacon and an Arnold Palmer. Famous hotdogs and all of the nostalgic signs and atmosphere were great for a hotdog joint. They had a game room in the back. It. Was like stepping back in time. They have a basic selection on the menu and a 99 sanitation score 🙌 The only thing that would have been icing on the cake is a little more friendly southern hospitality vibe from behind the counter. That was very cut and dry. “Whatcha want” kinda place.

Wouldn’t buy again; best thing they have is location. Asked for hot dogs well done. Staff wasn’t very friendly. 17$ for 4 hot dogs and 2 drinks. Don’t waste your time. They may have been good at one point. My mother who’s recently had cancer surgery asked to go get a really good hot dog. Very disappointed.

First time here. We tried the cheeseburger and chili hot dog. The both tasted great. We also ordered onion rings and fries. They were also great. The crew working there were very friendly and helpful in ordering. My husband loved the Arnold palmer and I loved the fresh squeezed lemonade. We will definitelybe back with the kids.

A great old school hot dog joint, with many other menu choices as well. They have been around for over a hundred years, owned and run by the same family. This was Arnold Palmer's favorite hangout when he was a young golfer at Wake Forest College. I ordered at the front counter and had my order before I got my change back in my wallet. Two hotdogs and an "Arnold Palmer" (sweet tea/lemonade combo). They have a game room in the back with additional seating, pool tables, pinball machines and video games. Really enjoyed the hotdogs and the overall feel of the place

My husband and I had been eating at this restaurant for years. We would drive 30 minutes out of our way to grab a bite just to support this local establishment. After tonight’s interactions with their staff, specifically the older gentleman (evening shift on 03/28/22) working, tonight was our last visit. The customer is not always right, but everyone deserves to be treated equally and respected!!
