Manhattan Bagel

Honestly this place sucks. Where is the bacon? I have like 2 pieces! The lady at the register is rude and rushes you… over priced. I rather keep going to another local business but my boyfriend wanted this… truly disappointed! Never again. Last time :) I’ll only go back for buying bagels but not BEC or any of that sort.

Ordering ahead highly recommend but they’ve got lots of staff to endure your order is tended to promptly. I watched a customer wait an excessive amount of time and her order had got lost or something. After the staff finally figure out who didn’t fulfill the ticket management worked to get her order bumped to the top of tickets and the customer on her way. What’s was especially great to see was that management recognized their error, owned it with the customer and then went to make it right with her offering her to grab a drink from the fridge on the way out. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is their online ordering system could be improved it’s currently extremely confusing and can be quite a pain if on your mobile device. The only other reason was that in that last situation manage my did everything right with the customer but they also let their employee who had messed up know what was wrong and how to correct it. Unfortunately the employee took it the wrong way and had a bad attitude while making the rest of the pending orders. He also talked back to the manager who failed to address that with him. In all the disagreement and the workers angst he didn’t complete my order correctly and left out an item. Unfortunately it took me getting home before I realized my order was incorrect. But props to management for almost everything being handled right…some workers just have to grow and learn to take constructive criticism and feedback less personal and actually learn from it.

The bagels are good… the service not so good. Had an interaction with a young man behind the counter that left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won’t go back. There is no reason to be rude and mumble things under his breath… I was a teenager not so long ago but would never insult an customer under my breath or be rude to a customer. Management please reevaluate and train your staff, because you just lost a customer.

Love this place. The ONLY bagel outside of the borough of Manhattan that's worth eating. Always fresh/hot. Always quick and efficient at the counter. They have free WiFi, comfortable seating area away from the hubub of the counter area. There's a great assortment of bulk spreads, juices, coffees. Plus they have a grill for breakfast and sandwiches, along with good solid soups. I've had them cater office events, as well. They do a first-rate job - from coffee to juices to spreads to fruit bowls. And the bagels arrive warm! I don't know what the minimums are (if any) for delivery, but the deliver!

Had the worst experience with Manhattan bagel . I placed a pretty big expensive order with them for a work breakfast ,only for the order to be wrong . They are blaming the error on the website they use ( ez cater ) but they are the establishment that fulfilled the order . I have gone back and forth with the manager. unfortunately there is no resolution. I am very disappointed with how they are treating me as the customer . There are plenty of other bagels places in Union , that I will place future orders with .
