The Quiet Crab

We went here for our anniversary this past Saturday. With all the good reviews I said let's give this a try. Plus I'm very familiar with Maryland crab. First off the only item that was maybe Maryland crab was the crab cakes was I somewhat disappointed. If there was more our server did not tell us about any specials. We ordered Maryland cream of crab and grandma traditional crab soup. Both were very good. So now we order captain crunch sea scallops 1/2lb if they were sea scallops as you can see in picture they were very small, 9 fried shrimp good size and cook perfectly, 1 piece of cod it was cooked perfectly too. We also ordered QC flavor box #2 which came with 2 clusters of Alaskan snow crab legs. Let me start here they were over cooked or precooked not sure which one. They were very dry and the crab meat did not slide out of the shell as they should. The shrimp was cook perfectly so was the Maine lobster tail. The corn on the cob was almost cold/warm. The 6 pieces of sausage were a little over cooked not juicy or mouth watering as they should be. Not sure if we will be back here or not after spending over 100 buck and not see any real Maryland crab except the crab cakes. We should been more WOWED and was not..

Our second time eating here. Food was great. We had the cream of crab soup and one of the Flavor Boxes. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Our box was missing a corn on the cob and the waitress brought us one promptly.. Funny, I think we were sitting next to Mrs Wallace who gave a bad review today . She put on a show but at least her friend was rightfully embarrassed and seemed to apologize .we understand crab legs aren’t translucent 😀. Thanks again.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Originally from Maryland (born and raised) Maryland seafood is hard to come by. After moving to FL in September 2018(Palm Beach Gardens) I’ve finally found the best Maryland Style seafood restaurant and I do not have to look any further. My husband and I were doing a little road trip for a change of scenery and after googling some seafood restaurants we saw that The Quiet Crab in Stuart had phenomenal reviews and that the owner (and head chef) was in fact from MD. (Turns out that my husband and him are literally a month apart and grew up in the exact same city, ya small freaking world) VERY LONG STORY SHORT... the soup was freaking out of this world, cream of crab and grandmas (vegetable crab, tomato base) was absolutely amazing. Then we got the seafood trio which has a FULL crab cake (MD approved😋) no filler just pure crab meat cooked to perfection, steamed shrimp, and a cluster of snow crab accompanied by thee most deliciously perfectly cooked French fries... The owner Jeff is now a best friend, we talked about the old stomping grounds and all the best places is MD. Not to mention Angie(Red) and Angela (Georgia) are the most amazing ladies ever for being super friendly and on point!!(your Ice cold glass will never be empty 😁) can’t wait to come back for their steamed blue crabs. Hello Jeff, I just got home from your place and have to tell you the food was good... however, I ordered the Fish & Chips with a side of Cole slaw. When my food was delivered there were no "chips" (French fries). The waitress said the chips were a side. I disagree. If the word chips is in the title of the entrée, they are NOT a side. My wife loved your crab soup... but I'm not sure I'm coming back, too bad.

OMG! Finally we have found the real deal Jumbo Lump Crab 🦀 Cakes and Creamy Crab 🦀 Soup. The Chef/Owner Jeff took time out of his busy schedule to meet and speak with all the guest, kudos to Jeff for attention to detail and his guest. We will definitely make this spot our go to place for top notch crab cakes and creamy crab 🦀 soup 🍲.
