Applebee's

Applebee's is my favorite casual dining place for American food, especially in Kuwait where I live. Their US location in State College did not disappoint. We went for an early dinner. Half the tables were empty but still there was a wait of around 20 minutes (could be due to covid issues). Anyway, we were in a hurry so chose to sit at the bar, where the super busy bartender was mixing the cocktails for the whole restaurant plus serving food to the customers seated at the bar. For starters, we ordered their double crunch bone-in chicken wings. They were really crunchy and tasty. For the main course, I went with a 12 oz t-bone steak. The steak was perfect. Tasty, juicy and done exactly as I requested. The steak went very well paired with a nice glass of wine. The prices are affordable and well worth for the quality you get. Highly recommended.

The service there was amazing! The waitress was very speedy and kind, and she even let me make an unique request of having an orange slice in my water! The food came out at the right temperature and tasted delicious! My favorite dish was the tacos they were surprisingly delicious especially with the lime!
