Applebee's is my favorite casual dining place for American food, especially in Kuwait where I live. Their US location in State College did not disappoint.
We went for an early dinner. Half the tables were empty but still there was a wait of around 20 minutes (could be due to covid issues). Anyway, we were in a hurry so chose to sit at the bar, where the super busy bartender was mixing the cocktails for the whole restaurant plus serving food to the customers seated at the bar.
For starters, we ordered their double crunch bone-in chicken wings. They were really crunchy and tasty.
For the main course, I went with a 12 oz t-bone steak. The steak was perfect. Tasty, juicy and done exactly as I requested.
The steak went very well paired with a nice glass of wine.
The prices are affordable and well worth for the quality you get.

The service there was amazing! The waitress was very speedy and kind, and she even let me make an unique request of having an orange slice in my water! The food came out at the right temperature and tasted delicious! My favorite dish was the tacos they were surprisingly delicious especially with the lime!

Very good food, and pretty good service. I heard a person bickering a little bit over at the bar, but that was fine.
Most of the choices are alcoholic beverages, so many of the drinks for kids and people under 21 are limited.

Kool place.. Burgers was awesome.. Tom the waiter.. Was very nice and friendly.. Again I love unsweetened ice tea. And there's was good.. We went around lunch time.. Not crowded this day..

Good service, great food! Always a fan of Applebee’s, one of my go to place on a nice weekend! I love their 2 for $24 deal for 2 of us. They have some good dessert to try as well. Nice friendly environment with plenty of seating space.

Best food I’ve ever had! Never disappoints! Servers are super friendly and fast! The food always is cooked to perfection. The wings are amazing with buffalo sauce.

I ordered Broccoli chicken Alfredo and AppleBee’s signature ribs, and they were all great! The one point I took off is because they didn’t follow 6ft rule, and all of dining desk were not skipped but allowed us to sit next to each other.
