The Press Box

I just recently had breakfast here after being away for a while. It was good. I had an egg salad sandwich and crinkle cut fries. The reason I am not giving a 5-star rating is because the driver, for some reason, couldn't get the fries the way I like them. Very crispy. But the sandwich was delicious! And they used to have all you can eat fish on Fridays. I'm going to check that out this week.

My wife and I are regulars at the press box and are usually very satisfied with both the food and the friendly staff. Today however, we came in at 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner. Besides us and one other person, the place was empty. We placed our order and there's where the problem began. Our server must have known the other patron and proceeded to have a lengthy conversation with him. Approximately 15-20 minutes later, she finally decided to check the status of our order. She served us then continued her conversation with the gentleman. Turns out that our food had been plated so long that everything was cold. We're not in the habit of sending food back for fear of retaliation, so I was intending at least letting her know. Problem is she never came back to check on us until we were finished. The food, other than being cold, tasted good, but the service, on this day was more than disappointing. My 3 stars are solely based on this visit and this server. Any other time I would have given 4-5 stars.

I've come to the restaurant 2 times now for breakfast. It is a family-friendly place to eat. Breakfast is served warm and quick. The waitresses are very nice and they offer fast service. Lots of seating places and even good enough to have a meeting as well. Not sure if they'll accommodate this kind of things, but call and ask. Did I mentions that the food is great!? Check this place out, you won't regret it.
