Table 2164 was average, chips were just under seasoned and not crispy enough, as was the salt and pepper squid. Steak had a nice grill flavor but was tough and chewy. Mushroom sauce was a little watery and mushrooms undercooked. Chicken schnitzel was just on the dry side.
Maybe I've been in lockdown for too long as this was our first meal out and my memory of food I haven't cooked myself is affected.

Nice atmosphere.
Meals are lovely. The kids menu comes with free soft drinks and ice cream... Lots of room, the kids play area is good, just needs more ventilation. It gets hot and stuffy.

Great place to go for lunch or dinner and entertainment. Bistro prices very reasonable edpecially if you buy the specials. cheaper if you become a member only costs 5 Dollars for the year and $2.50 if you are a Pensioner. Nice big sports bar. They also kids specials and have a playground area for the kids. Well worth a visit

Table 2164. The restaurant was very quiet at lunchtime. First ordered coffee which took an eternity to be made. Then we ordered burgers which took much less time. Average burger, wouldn't order again. Didn't try the rest of the RSL so can't comment

I've been visiting Smithfield RSL for many years and find it a great place to stop for a quick drink and a meal when I'm coming through.
It has great prices, top value and it's a very comfortable place to relax, chill out and be yourself.
I love going there when I want to 'hide from the world' and have some Edward Zia time.
Great people and love their work!

Visited club for dinner, food was great. However the club has expanded their poker machine area....to where the entertainment stage and seating were located....
This has resulted in the removal of the more intimate spaces...

Didn't have a great experience the food was nice but as for the seafood it was an down side experience I had greens pippis and also mud crab 1 kilo. The pippis were very nice so was my greens but the crab definitely was not 1 kilo I paid $120 just for the crab it was small and empty it was the size of my hand. Not worth the price. I do believe if you try the crab maybe check the grams. Not satisfied 😕

Place is extremely clean and has a nice bar and big gaming lounge. There is only small outdoor area with machines that you can smoke/vape there. The restaurant was ok but quality of food wasn't the best. Also a diet coke costs just over $5. Pool tables are also coins only. Most other places I'm Sydney have Pool tables where you can tap your card. Overall a nice place for a chill day or night out
