Panera Bread

I didn’t know what to review this since the person I want to give this review to no longer works here. I think she was a shift lead or manager….. she was blond and her name was Jordan. Never once doubted to make me smile when I came in. You can tell she tried making good relationships with her staff and customers. Loved talking to people, and looked like a fine hard worker too! The other manager that works there still… I think her name is Gena if I’m correct, Is also super sweet. I didn’t get to know her before I stopped coming here because I moved to Olmsted falls about a month ago. But, my experience with the younger staff was incredible. I miss getting my late afternoon coffee runs here on Saturday and Sundays!

Horrible customer service. I placed a dine in order and was waiting on my salad and overhead a staff member say here's chicken it may be frozen but it will work. I did not think she was talking about my food. I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and I asked for extra chicken. This is what I always order. When my salad was ready I think it had 4 pieces of chicken and they were ice cold and nothing else. I explained I did not want the salad the chicken was ice cold. All I hears was a staff member mumble it's not frozen its fine. The salad was definitely not worth $13. They did refund me my money but the entire time the staff members are talking about and rolling there eyes at me. The girl that refunded me was the only professional worker. They should have just told me the salad was unavailable at this time.

I feel so sorry for the workers at this place. While enjoying my napa sandwich, that was very delicious in fact, I couldn’t help but be distracted by a woman on the phone complaining about her mac and cheese. I was bewildered at her foul language used with the innocent workers and heinous insults thrown at the staff over a supposed 11$ mac and cheese. I pray for these men and women after enduring the ignorant and abusive language used against this staff. Totally and immature!

I just spent 65.00 on dinner for my family, my husband doesn’t check the bag assuming all of our order is included (bag was sealed). I am distributing the contents to my family and one thing is missing, my daughters lrg. Mac N Cheese (Her dinner). So I call the cafe’ and let the person that answered the phone know they forgot an item and was told to come back up and get it. My husband leaves his hot soup to go retrieve the missing item. He walks into the cafe and is told by the manager Jamie or Jennie “ you are a liar I am not giving you a Mac N Cheese, I know I put it in the bag”!!! This is in public in front of patrons and the most humiliating experience I could imagine. I then called the cafe and got the same response from the manager. I was told that because others lie, I must be a liar too and she is not giving me the almost $11 meal they failed to put in the bag! I paid for a meal we didn’t receive and there isn’t a thing I can do about it. I have never been so insulted in my life! My family and I don’t eat out much so I’m not sure if this is a common problem but we will never trust another Panera with our hard earned money. They actually stole 11.00 from my family! I am just at a loss for words on the way that manager treated my husband and myself after we spent 65.53 on our meal. I really hope she needed that 10.59 to maybe feed herself or her child.

I had Jennifer as my cashier, very rude and unprofessional wearing a choker, doesn’t give you a second to think about what you want to order. I watched as the two boys were making my sandwiches, no masks, talking about partying and scratching their noses with gloves on while making the sandwiches as far as I know masks should still be used especially for restaurant workers making your food. I am wondering why they hire rude people. Not to mention gloves are not being changed during this whole process watched as another employee was preparing food for curbside touched the door than came back in to make another order with the same gloves. Employees should be informed on switching gloves and proper sanitation
