Pizza Inn

Grew up eating pizza inn in Dallas (which they shut down) and I just have to say When we saw that the area we moved to had pizza inn we were excited... My experience at the Rowlett location was indeed a GREAT ONE! The Crew are all very friendly and the pizza is very good. I would recommend it. Thanks for being great Pizza Inn Crew and for still existing!

We just moved to the area and while we were unpacking we decided to order pizza. We ordered our pizza at 9:00pm and after an hour wait we called to check on our order. I was told that the "driver" had left 20 minutes ago to deliver my pizza (I live 7 streets down from the PizzaInn) and they were so sorry it is taking so long. So I said "okay, thank you" and continued to wait... Another 45 minutes later I called back again to check on our order and I was told "I'm sorry our system is all messed up and we just now got your order" although 45 minutes ago I was told it was on its way???? The woman on the phone was very very nice and asked me to hold while she tried to figure something out.(By this time PizzaInn is closed for the day) She comes back on the phone and tells me "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I just talked to my manager and if you would like, we can deliver your pizza to you tomorrow along with a complementary desert."...... Are you serious?? I informed her that we had just moved to the area, we only have 1 car and it was being used. I ordered the pizza because my kids and I have not had dinner yet and we had no way to get anywhere else to eat without walking in the freezing cold at 10:30pm... So, I was put on hold again... after about 5 minutes the woman told me that "she was going to make the pizza and when she left to go home for the night she would drive by my house and bring me our pizza" I was honestly shocked.. Sooo, almost right at 11pm she showed up with my pizza and 2 litter. I couldn't be more happy with this poor girl who went WAY!! out of her way to help me out when she didn't have to at all. I mean I have never in my life heard of an employee doing something like that. She was honestly the only good thing about that place. The pizza was gross and the bottom of the crust was burned and was about as soft as a cracker... and after all of this..... I still had to pay for my pizza... I will never order from this place again, but thank you mystery phone girl (Sara) I think.... You deserve a raise and or a way better job.
