Bar Rio

We just visited this nice restaurant/bar this afternoon. They served a very delicious seafood pasta (I think the name is rock pasta), and I love it. The seafood is fresh and the garlic tomato sauce is very yummy. You also should try their hot chocolate, I'm not a fan of whipped cream but I love it here, so light not like usual heavy cream for cake. Staffs are so amazing and frindly. However, I do not like the soup, taste like curry with lots of veggies. The location is next to tourist information, must visit this place when visiting Oban.

We came here 1st time on Saturday the 12th of August very busy and we order soup of the day plus a few slice of bread & tea while we there we booked for table for 2 for 7.30 Unknown to me my partner he told them it was my 70th birthday and to have a special chosen table of which they did us proud they had a 70th birthday banner across the table and a hallium balloon with 70 on it they serve us really well at the end of the last meal we order a royal cheese cake had a happy birthday candle on it we had photos taken it was best evening every just as well we reserved our table because some group of people had to wait so long for it is a very busy place and nice staff as well 💖 😊 so it best to reserved your table for night time.

Had a great meal and service here today. The indian dishes were amazing, we had the creamy chicken kormu and the super flavourful traditional indian curry. Definitely recommend! Chicken burger and pasta bolognese were great as well. Service was super friendly and fast even though we came in just 15 minutes before the kitchen closing time. Desserts were also delicious.
