Gobblers Roost

This place is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top notch, and the food is incredible. I had a perfect KC strip and my wife got the apple wood smoked jumbo pork chop. When they say jumbo, they aren't kidding! For what you get, the prices are very reasonable and I can't wait for another occasion to go back. I'd give it six stars if I could!

This evening we went on a little road trip for dinner at The Gobblers Roost in Nevada, Mo. OMGOSH you guys, this place is amazing! Biggest Pork Chop and KC Strip we've ever had! The Filet Mignon and the Salmon were also outstanding. Plus baked potatoes, green beans, appetizers, salads, soup, fresh bread and delicious carrot cake. The owners were so nice and checked on every table several times. All of the staff were also wonderful. Our waiter was excellent! The whole dinner was INCREDIBLE and we have enough leftovers for a couple of days! Just WOW! Definitely going there again! 😁🤗⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can’t say enough great things about this place! The atmosphere, food, the staff, Kent and Kathy (the owners) make this the best dining experience you will ever have! The 5 course meal is beyond any expectation that you may have. They make you feel so welcomed and shower you with the best meal EVER. I give them 10 stars ⭐️

This is an incredible experience! The setting is serene and peaceful. The food portions are beyond anything I’ve experienced. We had the tenderloin and got two large steaks. Five courses were delicious and presentation was top notch. The service was professional, food came out in perfect intervals. The owner came by more than once to ask how are food was. Definitely recommend.
