Compline is where you want to go to have a truly welcoming Napa experience. Ryan and his staff never fails to go above and beyond with their hospitality. At Compline you're more than a customer. This review is for the Compline Wine Shop, not the restaurant. Compline Wine Shop was the perfect place to start our Napa trip. Our tasting experience introduced us to all types of wines - local and around the world. The energy was laid back and the map on the wall helped orient us as to where the wines came from. Their in-house sparkling water matched the impeccability of their wine. Highly recommend this tasting room for anyone in Napa - visitors or locals alike. Definitely a 5⭐️ experience.

Great food! Cute and dark interior. We got the ny strip with rockfish for our surf and turf meal. Excellent tasting meal, except the service had a lot to be desired. The waiter left us hanging and decided to have a glass of wine with another table while we were waiting to order. I understand he probably had an off night but the four of us at the table felt uncomfortable when he didn’t pay attention to us. You know it’s not good when your ladies notice. Other than the service, I would come back here again. I recommend the rock fish and duck fat fries!

DELICIOUS! Go try this place right away! The food is excellent, the service is good and the atmosphere is laid back California and fun. Don’t miss the off-the-menu burger or the the duck fat fries. The cheese board was excellent as well, as was the pork. And their wine offerings are wonderful as well and our waiter had excellent wine pairing recommendations for us. The chef came out to say hi and thank us and was super kind. All in all, a delightful experience. Highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor and head over to this restaurant and wine bar. On Sundays there are blind wine tastings which is really fun and helps to build your understanding of your personal tastes of wine. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful the whole night. For food, order the duck fries! Maybe even two orders. Everything we had was wonderful!

The food and service were great. We had the duck fat fries, strawberry salad, and the carbonara with beer and wine for lunch. Everything was so great that we made a second loop around for dinner and had the summer squash and deviled eggs. They didn't miss on a single dish. Even won with the wine suggestion. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
