Eiko's

Basic sushi. Nothing super spectacular. Wasn't very fond of some of the recommendations. There wasn't anything that really wowed me. I'd skip the appetizers and just go with your regular roll order. Food was okay at fresh. Service was really good. Servers were very attentive. It wasn't super busy on a Saturday lunch time. We made reservations but probably could have just walked in as a group. Didn't get a chance to check out the bar area but appears there was more space and seating. Wish they had a better space for groups. We were seated in a back corner off to the side.

This is probably one of my favorite Sushi Restaurants of all time. The ambiance is perfect for my tastes and the selections are out of this world! One of the reasons why I love this place is that some of the dishes are real pieces of art. As a designer I really appreciate how some restaurants really put in the extra effort in the aesthetic aspect of their dishes. When ever I go there I always blow a TON of cash because of it lol. The food and drinks are top notch so it's all good. When I went last I had a server in training and both the trainer and trainee were both excellent. Really love great service. I also tried something new which was the Kobe Beef roll. Never had that before. It was different and quite delicious. They also still have the Covid barriers/table/booth separators up too so if you are a little nervous about going out that might offer a little comfort. Anyways, don't take my word for it, when you're in the downtown napa area definitely give Eiko's a shot!

Fantastic food! Perfectly seared, perfectly cooked scallops, and the sauce they were perched on was incredible. I can't tell you what it tasted like, but the flavors were excellent and complemented the scallops perfectly. The duck confit fried rice was tasty as well, and everything else our party got was happily enjoyed. I'll be back!
