May's Drive In

The staff is nice. But the food is expensive compared to how cheap it is made. It's not very good food either. The quality of food you get from the dollar general whether its frozen or off the shelf is 10 times better. Plus, it isn't very clean. It looks clean at first glance but when you watch them clean the surfaces it's with already soiled cleaning supplies and its dirty up close. Its run down as well. The ice cream shop is good but I would not advise the food. The portions are small and gross. I don't usually stop to eat here but ice cream yes. Perkins was full so I stopped here out of desperation and boy did I regret it. This is my honest and humble opinion.

We took our grandson here and it was awful. 1st) the cashier acted like we were bothering her by being there 2) thanked her but she just snubbed us but told the people 3 tables over 'youre welcome" with a wide open smile. We got there around 7:15 and they closed at 8. Well around around 7:50 the air became very tense and we felt totally rushed out while they waited near our table for us to leave. I give the customer service a big fat -100

Disappointed in service. Made to feel my husband and I shouldn't have stopped for dinner as one particular younger staff was unfriendly and made us feel like they wanted to clean up and leave. There were 4 other families that arrived when we did. All meals were ordered at the same time and came out together. Food was good. Only one cook working and he did a great job getting 10 meals out in 20 minutes.
