Porch Swing

Went to dine on a Wednesday evening with no wait. Party of 4. We all ordered meals and had it out in 16 minutes. Staff was friendly. Food came out hot. Chicken Tenders were great. Apple Pie was great. Our waiter was nice to confirm our orders and check on us twice during our meal. Great atmosphere. Hope this one grows and stays around.

My family and I just ate here for the first time. We are leaving stuffed and happy! Between all 4 of us, we had chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, half rack of ribs, chicken tenders, green beans, mashed potatoes, house beans, and Mac n cheese. For dessert we had slices of coconut cream, buttermilk, and apple pie. All of these were delicious. The aesthetic, both inside and out, is extremely pleasant and welcoming, as is all the staff inside. There is ample outdoor seating for those beautiful days. There’s also music Friday & Saturday evenings, sounds like it starts around 8pm.

This was our first time...from the door the place is very clean and the parking was plenty. The hostess was very nice and prompt to greet us and get us seated. Our waitress (Taylor) was very knowledgeable and advised based on our questions. The food was good we had catfish, ribs and tenders which were all good. They have love music which was cool to hear. The meal was decently priced about $60 (before tip)for 3. We finished by sitting outside on there "porch swings" enjoying the cool evening breeze.

Great Food. Service was fantastic! I went with three friends and we all tried something different. Each of our dishes was delicious and the wait was not long at all. We were served warm biscuits while we waited. Great job by the server to make sure that our teas and lemonades were constantly being refilled. By the way, I had the ribs and they were amazing. At the end we all tried a different slice of pie. They were each phenomenal! 100% will go back.

Our server was Jessica. Not Friendly - no smile nothing. Took 15 min just to get our drinks order, then another 10 mins for the food order. Jessica W. was not in site for 10 minutes at a time. We finally got our order in at 5:45 20 min later Jessica W. stated you food in on the way. Took her 20 min to refill my tea. Food came 30 min later. Not hot it was warm. Ten minutes later she came by finally got my tea refill. Ask for 2 to go boxes, 10 minutes later she only brought 1. Another server came by I asks him for one. Got it. Then we waited 13 minutes for the check. I went to the counter to pay for the food because Jessia W. Again was MIA. Just a FYI for new customer in the future do NOT GET Jessica W. FOR YOUR SERVER.!!!!

Love the atmosphere. The food was only ok. Edible, but not something I'm excited to go back for. The meatloaf my husband got was terrible, strange flavoring for meatloaf. He's still complaining about it after we got home. They've added chicken fried chicken, which was very good. The key lime pie, not so much. We might go back & give it another try. I really hope they make it, but the food will have to get better or the menu expand. Our waitress was great, very informative & attentive.

The food is amazing. Wait staff good. Food comes out fast. While waiting on your order, you are served a homemade chessy & butter biscuit. There r two containers of honey on table. One is regular honey, the other is spicy. The spicy one does have a little kick to it, but is great! Overall, I highly recommend this open & airy restaurant, a great concept. The pies are AMAZING! When you get your pie to go, a fork comes with it! We needed this restaurant here in mesquite!
