Chili's

I give this location in Marshall a 3.5 star. Chili’s is one of those places that in my opinion you would go more to hang out with people than to find an extraordinary meal. Don’t get me wrong the food is okay but it’s just that, okay. I don’t frequent this establishment because the cost of food is definitely not worth the quality and quantity that you get. The wait staff was excellent this last time we went and really working hard and that says something! The place could really use a good deep cleaning though!! Another reason I don’t frequent this place is because years ago when my child was a little boy the waitress put his plate too close to the edge of the table and he dumped the contents out of the floor the minute he got his plate. She admitted it was her fault and still charged me for the spilled plate and the replacement plate. Then the next time we visited their was a fly in my child’s ice in his drink. They still charged us for that too! Maybe they do not do this to their customers anymore but it still stays in my mind from many years ago. It is still just an average restaurant in an average city in America.

Friendly manager. Came around checking on costumers. Margarita with Patron was okay. Was quick to be seated. Carne asada was tasty, and cooked just right. Cheese cake was also tasty. Wishing they could of placed the strawberry puree on top. Our waitress was preoccupied. Friendly and polite. Just not very attentive to our needs. Slow on responding to customers needs. Other than that she was ok. Late night and probably tired.

Arrived 10 minutes prior to another group and they got served 1st, waitress stated that she did not know we were here and they didn’t tell her. She couldn’t operate the tablet properly to put our order in and was very slow..didn’t bring us or ask us if we wanted chips and salsa but the other group received that and more (their drinks) we didn’t get anything…not sorry!!! The service sucks!!!

I can’t really rate the service. The bus boy asked our party size we answered with 6. The reply was if I decide to seat you it will be a 30 to 45 minute wait to receive our food not a problem. 15 minutes later our party of 6 was seated. We waited 21 minutes and never had a server ofer to even take our drink order. Multiple tables were empty.
