Dark Horse Brewing Co

We love Dark Horse Brewing! Have a hard time not getting their pizza each time we've gone, so I've never tasted their other food, but it all looks delicious! Had to get a couple six packs of of Rain in Blood beer to go since that is not found in our area stores. Super friendly staff, and great atmosphere!

The pizza is actually the reason we visit. Nothing against the beers which is always top notch, but the variety of pizza that they have, the way that it's cooked, and how well it tastes is just ultimately the reason to visit the place. We enjoy the beer garden, but it's not the easiest to do if you want table service. You first need to get menus, Then once you decide what you want, go inside to order, and choose your beer(s) at that time, because the outside bar is limited Once you figure it out, it's not really an issue, and well worth it for the pizza.

Always has been one of my favorites stops. I had (again) the Reserve Special Black Ale. One of my favorite beers. For lunch we had the brisket sandwich and the Gobbler. Both good. The brisket not smoked enough for my taste but not their fault. Next time I’ll ask for my ciabatta to be well toasted. The side of slaw great. The Gobbler was true sliced roast turkey and the lettuce etc inside the sandwich was a nice crunch. Potato chips side outstanding but a little less bread would have made for a better balance.

Pizza is amazing. Toppings are fresh and the cheese is delicious. But the service is very lackluster. When sitting outside there are no signs indicating whether or not to seat yourself or wait to be seated. Once we sat down no one came to take our order so we had to walk to the bar to place an order for beer or pizza.

Food was absolutely outstanding. Pizza was probably the best I've ever had. We also had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was better than I thought a chicken sandwich could ever be. I would definitely come here over any other restaurant in town. Also the beer was ice cold and tasted great. Kevin H was our bartender and he did an amazing job!!!! We live 2 hrs away and would make the drive just for the pizza!! And beer!! Also the white chicken chili was full of chicken and very flavorful...
