South St. Burger

We went in for our birthday burger. I have to say that the burgers were both delicious. The taste was fabulous. However, the fries unfortunately were over cooked. I ate them mine but my wife didn’t eat hers. The restaurant needs some TLC. The floors and the tables were a little sticky. Still I know we will most likely return.

Used to be our go to burger place. But they changed their menu and now its $1.50 each for good toppings and the free toppings are just your typical free toppings. Went there last night, the girl making my burger was so stingy on toppings. Just a DAP of sauce, one small slice of lettuce, the smallest bit of avocado (there was pretty much none). Ended up paying almost $13 for a pretty basic burger with next to no toppings. I've seen fast food places be less stingy on toppings.

First time writing a review in years… and that says something. The individual taking my order priced all the items individually and got upset when I asked why it wasn’t placed in a combo (after paying). He said I have to tel them it’s a combo and they wouldn’t refund me due to “no manager” being present.. after being persistent, they scrapped up change and paid me (from who knows where). The meal for two people was $44…. Two basic burgers with milkshakes. YIKES. Filthy, wilted toppings, and rude management. Don’t come here

Updated review: I would only give 2 stars. Has gone drastically downhill. The tables and chairs are sticky with filth and dirt. When I kindly informed the staff I was simply starred at blankly. They also took the wasabi Mayo away with was a big mistake. Two years ago review Pros: pleasant and clean dining room, TVs visible for dining pleasure, amazing selection of toppings, delicious beef, fresh cut French fries, friendly service, large portion sizes, quality ingredients Cons: quite expensive (one burger without drink or fries is $8 after tax), and when we were there the cook was quite swamped with orders and we waited about 15 mins.
