Kfc

Got into town after a 10hr drive.. at 9:12pm - this was one of the only places open to eat.. when we walked in - the woman at the counter did not want to serve us saying .. we are closing soon. Checked the sign and clock - they weren't closing until 10pm... and there were two customers in front of us already waiting for their food. She wasn't pleasant with us and sighed and rolled her eyes when I asked - "What do you mean? It Is 9:12pm and you close at 10? There isn't anything else open, can you please serve us?" She reluctantly served us two combo meals She made it clear to us she would not make pizza (KFC/Pizza Hut combo)- which was annoying - as someone who has worked in fast food and restaurants.. I never heard of refusing service almost an HOUR before close. But it was fine, we were just hungry and needed something quickly. We got our combo meals and the food was horrible. Ate it anyways because we were starving and it was our only option.

My first time at a KFC in Canada and was extremely disappointed. They charge extra for any sauce on the side (except ketchup) and the burger was partially cold and the batter of the chicken was not as crispy as it seems from the menu. If you see my burger below, you can see the troll of how fast food restaurants actually make and serve their burgers vs how they show in their menu. This burger costed $8.50 after tax (just the sandwich). Extremely over priced and most other fast food burger joints are much better. Not going to KFC again for sure.

Very dirty location. We went to order our food and noticed the hand sanitizer was empty. I went to the washroom. The washroom had not been cleaned in a long time. There was urine stains all over the seat. There was no paper towels left. While waiting for our food, I noticed that garbage was overflowing from the bins. The floors and tables had not been cleaned up either. As our food was ready, I took a quick look in the kitchen and had noticed the floors where littered with food. This is very unacceptable. If a food inspector was there, this would have been a fail.
