It's great for Gainesville. The food is the best in the area. I'm from NY and do not expect the same quality but this food is good. Only one problem...never had to pay extra for hot tea, here it is $2,00 extra. The place is clean and service is great. Will be back again. Unfortunately the area it's in is back off the road and difficult to find.

This restaurant has been our go-to Chinese food place for the past five years! They have very authentic Chinese dishes that are better than Chinatown's. We especially like their "Xiao Long Bao" aka soup dumplings. Chicken broccoli, General Tsos Chicken, and veggie spring rolls are very good too!

Pick up- I'm maybe 3 minutes away from this restaurant and I've order a few times now and I was nervous about it based on previous reviews but I haven't been disappointed yet. Ordered General Tso's each time and haven't been disappointed! Lady working the counter and phone has been very easy to deal with, I haven't used a coupon though. That seems to be a complaint people have voiced. All in all, service has been fast, food has been great, 10/10 would recommend.

Went to China East take out on recommendation of a foodie and it was great! The quality of the chicken was the best in the area & rice not over sticky. Handz down better then any of the "chain" places. The "dinner" prices where in line w/ area & the food taste great!..Keep up the great work.

Moved to gainesville two years ago. Not knowing the area so I ordered out a lot, I was always disappointed either by price or quality until I found China East. They are the best. Price, quality and timely service. Haven't been disappointed.
