Twisted Tortilla

Just stopped in for a Tex Mex fix on a whim...with less than an hour before closing time on a Saturday night we were concerned that we would be met by frowns but instead we were greeted courteously and welcomed, even though staff was obviously cleaning up already. We ordered nachos and the enchilada plate. Very homey tasting food, a lot like something you'd cook yourself on a casual night but without the burden of having to do the dishes afterward. They do have mixed drinks, lots of tv sets on the walls with your favourite sports, cozy booths or tables and a dark cool vibe. Good for friends or family.

We ordered soft tacos which are made in front of us - fresh, the menu seems confusing but the staff helped us understand better, you can choose your ingredients on your taco/bowl/burrito by yourself like we do in chipotle. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Ambiance is good. Small cozy place but great and fresh food.

We stopped here just out of curiosity, and oh my goodness, was it ever good! My daughter, being the sophisticated five-year-old that she is, ordered the chicken finger kids meal. After they brought out her freshly cooked meal, I asked if they had ranch, and the employee answered yes, that the chef would be more than happy to make her some. We felt so special. All of our food was fresh and delicious! We are already making plans to bring our families here when they visit next month.

So these Steak Nachos. Wow 😍 Split them with someone and plenty for both of us. $10 so it's more than I would pay for just me but good that it was enough to save if I was lunching alone. I didn't see anything on the menu under 8 so if running low on cash I would ask if they have alternatives like a la carte? The crew was helpful and delightful!

I love this place! Great food, great folks behind the counter and did I mention the fabulous food? Best nachos around and their burrito bowls are so fresh. I called in literally one minute after they opened for a takeout order, went to pick it up while they looked to be prepping a large catering order so my nacho order was delayed by maybe 7 minutes, I didn't mind, best nachos ever, they insisted on not charging me for the wait. What? Customer service is the bomb here, unheard of these days. Thanks guys!!

Went here for lunch and got a rice bowl. It’s similar to chipotle with the counter style serving and customization but I felt like my carnitas were a little bland. They give you free fresh chips on the side that were good, but I was not a fan of the salsa- any of them. They have a salsa bar at the back with 3 different kinds and I think they put a ton of vinegar or something in it to keep it fresh. It tasted very odd. Service was good, friendly and fast.
