Burger King

The wait was a little long but seeing that they only had two people working, I was impressed. The food preparation was spot on and when I asked for ketchup, the guy handed me a large handful, not the 2 packs typical of McDonald's. I always prefer Hardee's new fires but these two guys done a great job; they were hot-n-fresh, and had a nice crisp, with plenty of salt! Which is rare these days.

At some point, I only have myself to blame for coming to this location. It’s the closest one to my house, so I keep giving it a chance. Over the past 4 times I’ve been there, 2 of the times I went in the afternoon I was in line for over 30 minutes. The other two times was for breakfast and my order was wrong. Last time, I ordered a single sausage cheesy melt, but they gave me ham instead. Today, I tried ordering a double sausage croissan'wich, and a black iced coffee. They responded with “we don’t have black iced coffee”…yet it’s just coffee, and a lot of ice. But then they gave me coffee at room temperature (I’ll give them credit for trying). THEN my sandwich was only a single. So not only did I round up on my meal for the BK fund but I paid for a more expensive sandwich and received less. The hash browns were good and hot, but the sandwich was not. If you go to this location, I’ve learned, your order will be wrong in the morning, or take 30 minutes for lunch/dinner.

I just left Burger King and most would have left a bad review in this situation due to short staff. There was only one person doing a job of 4 to 5 employees minimum. Cory was polite and was able to serve fresh food despite being the only one making sandwiches, fries, drinks, and cashier. Unfortunately Burger King doesn't deserve Cory but hopefully they compensate him well doing the work of multiple people.

Pretty good overall. This Burger King only has the regular soda machine. Not the big fancy one that downtown Fort Wayne has where you can mix all sorts of flavors. The food was hot and fresh. The service was great considering she was running all over the place doing the job of like 3 people. No iced tea. But they have three flavors of slushy next to the soda machine.
