Whataburger

Stopped here for a quick bite of supper on my way home to Houston on Thursday evening around 7:30 pm. Although they were busy, they processed the four people ahead of me in the dining room. My order for Honey BBQ Chicken strip meal was prepared properly and was served fresh and warm. Good job WB. I'll be stopping in here more often and need a reliable restaurant that cares about the customers experience.

ALERT ****YOU WILL BE IN LINE WAITING AT THIS LOCATION FOR AT LEAST 20 min or more**** Normally they are the best in Town foe a good hot Whataburger. They have now collapsed into a business with horrible turnover, young "untrained" employees who although friendly are confused about their roles. Second time I received a completely different order and drink than what I ordered. They are a franchise so calling corporate on them makes little to no difference at all....save your money and go get a hot fresh Whataburger elsewhere.

Never leave reviews, but this whataburger was awful with customer service. It took them a half hour to get through three cars in a drive through. No explanation of why when I finally got to the front. No offer to comp the meal. Longest I’ve ever waited in a drive through anywhere and to get no reason or make up attempt is absurd. Manager really should do something, I won’t be back.

Spent 30-40 mins in the drive through which delayed our trip significantly. Also, once we were at the window it smelled like vomit. It looked like it was full of employees except they just moved extremely slow. Lastly, the hamburger was cold. The only positive was that the French fries were fresh and hot which is why I gave two starts instead of one.

What a huge disappointment my visit to this Whataburger was. Even though there was no one else in the drive thru lane, we waited over 20 minutes for a Whataburger Jr meal. When we finally received our meal they apologized and said that they were waiting for "Really hot fries." Not only were the fries not even close to hot, our burger had obviously been sitting for awhile as well. When we pulled away it looked like the employees were partying with their friends inside which might explain why it took so long to get our food, I won't be back.

We have been coming every Saturday and Sunday for 2 years. The quality of the food has decreased so much. Since Covid we understand the ability to keep worker has been difficult but the food quality has decreased so bad that we simply cannot continue to be customers. Fries are not only cold but so stale and when asked for fresh they just throw them back in the fryer, then drop in the hopper of old fries scoop up and have a mixed mess. I’ve worked fast food, you are not supposed to reheat something passed through the window and returned. We stopped today after months of McDonald’s. Hash browns and fries so stale they were like rubber. So sad and disappointed in a Texas tradition and unfortunately it’s all of our local Whataburger’s that are like this.
